Tada!! My mock wedding cake:)


This was the cake I started in the Wilton cake class. I ended up making more fondant roses at home and finished it off! Beautiful! The fondant is even made out of marshmallows.... Yummmmm;)

Halloween Cookie time!


So this my third try at piping on cookies, I am getting a little better! just practice practice!
I decided to make halloween cookies just cause of the time of year. They are gifts for the staff at the College i just graduated from. I hope they enjoy them.

They are not just cookies.... They are bouquets:D my first ever try at this!!

My second halloween attempt!


Black midnight cake

2 cups flour
1tsp Baking Powder
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
2tsp Baking Soda
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup hot coffee
1tsp vanilla

-mix first 5 ingredients

-add milk oil and eggs in order, mix

-add coffee and vanilla, beat till smooth

-pour into liners 3/4 full for cupcakesbake about 15 min at 325'F I just test with tooth pick


Pumpkin spice butter cream

2 sticks butter

1/2 cup pumpkin

1 tsp cinamon

1 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp salt

vanilla

2 lbs icing sugar


-beat butter and pumkin together till not seperated

-add rest of ingredients

-beat until smooth

Halloweens a comin!!


Its time to try out the first of the halloween cupcakes!
These were my entries for CupcakeHero:october


This goolish delight is moist and darn delicious, the following is the recipe for my graveyard cupcakes


Pumpkin cupcakes
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
pinch of salt
1 cup pumpkin purr ea
1/4 cup veg oil
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped pecans

-beats eggs
-add sugar and flour beat till smooth
-add rest of ingredients and mix till well combined
-fill 1 dozen cupcake liners 3/4 full
-bake at 350'F for 20-25 minutes

White chocolate mousse
7 ounces white chocolate
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp creme de cacao
2 egg whites
1 cup heavy cream

-melt chocolate
-heat milk and stir into chocolate
-beat egg whites to soft peaks and fold into chocolate mixture
-beat cream to soft peaks and fold into chocolate mixture
-chill for 4 hours

Creme de cacao butter cream

1/2 cup butter (1 stick)

about 3 cups of icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 to 3 tbs creme de cacao


-beat butter and icing sugar together

-add vanilla and creme de cacao until smooth and shiny


* I cut out the center of the cupcake and spooned the mousse into the middle and chilled the cupcakes for about an hour for the mousse to set up a bit more. I then piped the butter cream on the top and placed my gooly creations onto the butter cream!
